Staunton serves as the county seat for Augusta County and provides most regional services within the area. Just two hours northwest of Washington, D.C., the City has a highly strategic location within Virginia’s Education and Technology Corridor.

The department takes pride in managing the City’s finances in an efficient, ethical, and transparent manner.
