JM Goldson, a small private planning firm based in Boston, is seeking an entry-level Community Planner I. JM Goldson is led by professional planner, Jenn Goldson, AICP, who founded the company in 2006 to help communities and organizations create and implement successful comprehensive plans, housing plans, community preservation plans, and other planning initiatives. Jenn's close to thirty years of experience blends historic preservation, affordable housing, open space conservation, comprehensive planning, and community engagement. Duties:
As Community Planner I at JM Goldson, your role would be to assist with a variety of our projects including local comprehensive plans, community visioning, housing plans, and community preservation plans. You would perform research and analysis, write plans and reports, and present complex information to the general public as well as local boards and committees. You would work closely and collaboratively the JM Goldson team, to generate equitable, creative, sustainable solutions for our client communities.
The position is full-time with competitive pay (salary range: $58,000-64,000), year-end bonuses based on performance, health insurance and paid time off benefits, as well as flexibility to work remotely one-day-per week.
