Marketing Strategist Intern
Internship

Position summary: The Marketing Strategist Intern’s role is to further develop and deploy City78's marketing strategy. The strategist will be expected to build from City78's initial brand development and utilize short and long-term marketing activities to promote City78. Our team is open to innovative methods alongside tried-and-tested ones. The individual in this position will be entrusted with a great deal of responsibility and autonomy in developing and deploying a marketing strategy.


We will consider candidates with a background and experience in at least one of two areas:


1) Graphic and content design

  • This role includes tasks and duties related to brand and business model development and management.
  • There will be a strong emphasis on graphic design and advertising skills for this position. This role is for individuals with strong community engagement skills, with multimedia background and the ability to design content for social media and other forms of digital engagement.
  • The ability to bridge graphic design and video multimedia will be highly useful for the success of this role.

2) Social media strategy and management

  • This is a position for individuals looking to further build their experience in developing marketing strategy, from creating advertising campaigns, to executing them. This role is meant for self-starters with innovative ideas on how to best leverage conventional and unconventional marketing tools in cohesive and decisive ways.
  • A background in digital advertising and social media analytics or an interest is a plus. 

Desired experience, skills and competencies:
  • Strong graphics design skills
  • Strong research skills and willingness to develop and implement new marketing methods and techniques
  • Strong copywriting skills and experience
  • Video and multimedia skills
  • Experience in building social media campaigns with measurable analytics/outcomes
  • Able to work independently and set/meet deadlines
