The Town of Blacksburg Planning Division has an opening for one paid intern for the Spring semester. This internship offers a variety of experiences as well as ownership of a larger project that the intern will work on from start to finish. This is an opportunity to gain valuable experience for a career in urban planning.
Successful candidates will have familiarity with urban and regional planning through coursework in areas such as urban design, sustainability, economic development, landscape architecture, architectural history, political science, environmental studies, geography, public administration or other closely related fields. This position pays $15/hour, and is for 6-10 hours per week from mid-January through mid-May 2025.
