Job, Internship, and Fellowship Openings for Students and Alumni of the Virginia Tech School of Public and International Affairs
This position is an in-person / in-office internship located in Charlotte, North Carolina. Student applicants located outside of Charlotte for the end of the spring semester may begin work remotely from their respective schools / locations, but are expected to spend the summer in Charlotte once available. All applicants should be available to work 20 - 30 hours per week during regular business hours (potential per-project weekend work may arise, but this is rare). The ideal contractor works well independently and collaborates effectively with others. Successful applicants should be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite is strongly desired; knowledge of GIS software is valued but not required.
Students, preferably those who have completed some graduate-level coursework in architecture, urban planning/design, real estate, geography, or transportation, are encouraged to apply. An hourly wage of $15 will be paid.
